About Galerie Eberwein

Galerie Eberwein has dealt in art from ancient Mediterranean civilisations for forty years. Today, Antonia Eberwein, daughter of the founder Roswitha Eberwein, ensures the continuity and success of the company at the gallery in the Saint-Germain district in Paris.

The gallery specializes in Egyptian art and objects from neighbouring cultures, dating from 3500 BC to the Coptic period of about 1000 AD. Each object is examined for authenticity and provenance and has a complete dossier detailing its history and cultural context, relevant publications and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. The gallery presents a collection of museum value pieces, offering high quality objects that correspond to the budgets of experienced collectors and those starting their collections.

The gallery’s close relationship with important figures in the domain of ancient art and their international clientele testify to their reputation worldwide. A member of IADAA, SNA and the Verband der Kunst und Antiquitätenhändler Niedersachsen, the gallery is affiliated to CINOA and participates regularly in international fairs including BRAFA, TEFAF, PAD, BAAF Brussels, BAAF Basel and Westdeutsche Kunstmesse and Kunstmesse München.

About FAB Paris

In February 2022, two leading French art fairs – the venerable Biennale, one of the world’s oldest art fairs (formerly known as La Biennale des Antiquaires) and the fast- growing Fine Arts Paris – announced that they had merged to create a new annual flagship event in Paris celebrating art from the Antiquity to present day.

The same year, the inaugural edition of Fine Arts Paris & La Biennale took place at the prestigious Carrousel du Louvre.

In 2023, Fine Arts Paris & La Biennale becomes FAB PARIS and moves to the Grand Palais Ephémère. The 2024 edition will take place in the renovated Grand Palais.
