About Philippe Bismuth Expertise

Philippe Bismuth—renowned gallerist and specialist in modern art—has launched Philippe Bismuth Expertise, a platform designed to provide personalized guidance in the art market.

A graduate of the École du Louvre, he brings close to four decades of professional experience. His career includes roles at international auction houses, independent consultancy (including work with the Crédit Municipal de Paris), co-founding a Paris gallery, and managing a framing studio.

Over the years, he has participated in many art fairs in France and abroad. Today, from a family apartment transformed into both a reception and working space, he offers a comprehensive, meticulous, and sophisticated approach to modern art, built on a carefully curated selection of works.

For the 2025 edition of FAB, his presentation will focus on painting and sculpture “from Edgar Degas to Gérard Schlosser,” with the representation of the human figure as the guiding theme—uniting celebrated masters with distinctive new discoveries.

About FAB Paris

In February 2022, two leading French art fairs – the venerable Biennale, one of the world’s oldest art fairs (formerly known as La Biennale des Antiquaires) and the fast- growing Fine Arts Paris – announced that they had merged to create a new annual flagship event in Paris celebrating art from the Antiquity to present day.

In 2023, Fine Arts Paris & La Biennale becomes FAB PARIS. This 2025 edition FAB Paris is held at the Grand Palais with 100 exhibitors.
