About Galerie Jacques Leegenhoek
Jacques Leegenhoek was born in Paris from a family of Art dealers and restorers. He became an expert at Sotheby’s in London, New-York, Brussels and Paris from 1972 till 1986 before setting up his own business.
He opened a gallery in the rue de Lille, in the Carré Rive Gauche, one of the main areas of antiques and art dealers in Paris. There, he displays a large selection of French, Italian, Flemish and Dutch pictures. Chosen for their subjects, mainly historical, but also for their good condition and often unpublished, these paintings are regularly spotted by private collectors and museums in France and in other countries.
