About Galerie Ary Jan

Self-taught man passionate about art, Mathias Ary Jan founded his first gallery in 1997. Three years ago, he established his gallery 32 avenue Marceau, where he exhibits works from the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th. Among the many artistic movements that flourished during this pivotal period in art history, Mathias Ary Jan specialized in Orientalism and the Belle Époque.

The gallery regularly presents themed exhibitions, around emblematic artists such as Félix Ziem or Jacques Majorelle and has been participating in numerous Salons, notably the Biennale Paris and the Brafa in Brussels for more than ten years.

About FAB PARIS

In February 2022, two leading French art fairs – the venerable Biennale, one of the world’s oldest art fairs (formerly known as La Biennale des Antiquaires) and the fast- growing Fine Arts Paris – announced that they had merged to create a new annual flagship event in Paris celebrating art from the Antiquity to present day.

The same year, the inaugural edition of Fine Arts Paris & La Biennale took place at the prestigious Carrousel du Louvre.

In 2023, Fine Arts Paris & La Biennale becomes FAB PARIS and moves to the Grand Palais Ephémère. The 2024 edition will take place in the renovated Grand Palais.
